Yes, we have a patch to fix this problem for Version 8.0 (Patch V8.0.0.1)
and Version 7.1 (Patch V7.1.0.2), that is why I ask you if install version
8.0.0.1, I think you can download from Hummingbird FTP (try this
ftp://ftp.hummingbird.com/pub/bbs/socks8001/hclsock5v8.zip )

I downloaded the new socks SOCKS_v8000_realesd.exe
But the problem with this is that my hole windows 2000 is going VERY slow,
so now i'm back with 7.0 with good performance, but now i can't
use any HTTP pages with Explorer or Netscape.
Do you have a patch for 7.0 to fix this or do you have a fix for v8 to fix
the slow behavior in W2K ?
