Hi,

after I've installed your fabulous SOCKS 7.1.x.x product on my Windows 2000
machine, I experience a dramatic (i.e. 10-15 times slower) decrease in
network performance of e.g. IE6, Mail, etc. (CPU-Load is low, memory usage
also ...).
When I uninstall SOCKS the performance gets normal again (without reboot
!). I also tried to use the "EXCLUDE-MODULE module_name" statement in
socks.cfg with some applications (e.g. IE6) but that doesn´t work either.
Any clue how to fix this problem or simply temporarily deactivate the
client in any way (registy ?) without uninstalling the whole product ?

Best Regards

Jens Vorast
