Hello all,

I'm working on a simple application that should be able to help the
user by managing some connections just like a single sign-on, and I
would like some help on how to manage the username and socks password.

I noticed that Hummingbird 8.0 configuration tool can store the socks
username and password in a permanent way in Windows Registry, but I
was looking for some information on how my application could encrypt
the password and store it in the registry the same way.

Or, if there is another way to do it.. an example would be to have
some command line interface executable that my application could run
on the command line, and that would store the usr/password in the
hummingbird cache just like if the user had authenticated him/herself
in the Socks authentication window. It is desirable if the password
could be erased in case of a reboot, just like it does in the common
authentication process.

Thanks.

Antonio
