Running Win/NT4.0SP6, SOCKS 7.101:
Config file C:\Program Files\Hummingbird Electronic Media\7.10\SOCKS\System32\Hummingbird\Connectivity\7.10\Socks\socks.cfg is as follows:
BIND-MODULE *
PROXY-NAME @=10.5.2.1:61080
DIRECT 10.5.2.0 255.255.255.0
SOCKD5 @=10.5.2.1:61080 *=abc 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
SOCKD5 @=10.5.2.1:61080 *=edf 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
SOCKD5 @=10.5.2.1:61080 *=ghi 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
SOCKD5 @=10.5.2.1:61080 *=jkl 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
DENY 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
After making the config change of socks to server port 61080 (and I have tried other port #s as well), rebooted windows, tried to open a socks connection, but socks still tries to connect on port 1080. Ran snoop on a sun box and watched network traffic. Regardless of port assignment, socks seems to always go out on the LAN to the server on port 1080. (Changing IP address works, but not changing port!)
Is this a bug in HCL client or do I have something stupidly wrong in the above config?
Feedback needed!! HELP!!!
Thanks in advance for assistance.
