Exceed generates error: "Video driver does not support pallete"
DISCUSSION
To run in the most useful and common graphics mode (Pseudocolor Mode) Exceed requires pallete capability. If this message is displayed Exceed has sensed that the functionality is not currently enabled in the Windows video driver loaded.
RESOLUTION
For ATI video cards, Run MACH 32 Panel (Flexdesk, advanced) and enable 256 color palette under advanced settings.
Otherwise:
- try loading a 256 color video driver.
- Use Static Color which does not require Palette Manager.
